REST IN PEACE: The IABF is sad to learn of the passing of Italian American player and coach Joe Pignatano. He was 92.
A Brooklyn native, he played for his hometown Dodgers from 1957 through 1960 and later with the Kansas City Athletics, San Francisco Giants and New York Mets.
Pignatano won a World Series with the Dodgers in 1959 and with the Mets in 1969 as a bullpen coach, a position he held from 1968 to 1981.
Our thoughts are with his friends, family and the fans who cheered him on all those years ago! 🇮🇹 ⚾️ 🇺🇸
