Baseball Executive Larry Lucchino Dies at 78

The baseball world is mourning the death of Italian-American baseball executive Larry Lucchino, who had a legendary career running the Orioles, Padres, and Red Sox. He was 78.

Most notably, he was the President/CEO of the Red Sox from 2002 to 2015 and helped lead Boston to three World Series titles. He also is the force behind getting Camden Yards built in Baltimore and Petco Park built in San Diego.

Our thoughts are with his family and friends. Thanks for all you did for the game, Larry!
