The Italian American Baseball Foundation continued its path towards youth baseball development and college scout exposure by sponsoring the 2022 Brooklyn Bash in September.

The showcase featured eight teams, including LI Storm, NY Crush, Sayo Grays, NY Gothams, Cage Warriors, NYC Freedom and Brooklyn Patriots.

Coaches from 10 local colleges used the tournament to scout talent. There were representatives from CCNY, SUNY Old Westbury, SUNY Ulster, Felician University, Baruch, John Jay College, Monroe College, Roger Williams University, Adelphi University and St. Joseph’s College.
