UPDATE: Pasquantino’s first home run was a home run!
The Royals called up Vinnie Pasquantino on Monday, July 27.
Referred to as the Italian Nightmare thanks to a nickname from Royals legend George Brett, Pasquantino is the fourth ranked prospect in the Royals’ organization and ranked No. 98 in the MLB Top 100 list.
He played college baseball at Old Dominion and grew up in Virginia.
